Wall Graphics were our fastest growing product in 2016. We did more walls in 2016 than we did in every year previously combined. After some more research and through feedback from our customers we believe this can be attributed to these 3 things.
1.) It Just Looks Awesome. Wall murals and wall graphics just flat out look awesome! In a world of HGTV and DIY Pinterest decor, wall graphics are "in". Everybody wants to customize their home, office or "space" the way they. These are great ways to achieve that objective. Weather you want to show support for your favorite sports team, communicate values or just use it as a method of art; a wall murals and graphics are an excellent way to make your wall look awesome.
2.) Its Very Affordable. One of the common threads we found between our customers decision to get a wall mural was the price. A wall mural is much more affordable than what the customer expected. A decade ago a wall mural literally was "a mural". You would have to hire a professional painter to come and paint a mural on your wall. Fast forward to today, and that same wall mural would be done in a fraction of the time with better quality than even Picasso couldn't achieve. Plus their is no need to worry about the paint chipping or fading.
3.) Its Shows What Your Made Of. I believe that this is the single most important reason why we saw such rise in wall graphics in the last year. A wall graphic gives the owner of the space the liberty to express them self in anyway possible. It's what I like to call "Showing What Your Made Of." What I mean by this is the ability for a factory to display their core values in a place where anyone will see everyday and clearly communicate the message of that factory. It has become a vehicle for communicating the values and principles of businesses and organizations.
Wall graphics truly were our "hot item" in 2016. However, I do not forecast that this will change much in 2017 and the years to come. We believe this is primarily due to the flexibility and balance a wall graphic has of creativity, affordability and communication of message.
